Fixed Contract – If you like the thought of an IT professional being onsite at a pre-determined time each week, the fixed contract is for you. We can provide many options for fixed contract solutions that will meet your IT support needs.
Remote assistance - Many computer problems do not require an engineer on site. Remote access can save you money on call out charges as well as providing immediate response. Providing our team with remote access to every pc in your office means your business has in effect its own IT department.
Call out response time - Should a visit to your organisation be necessary. Icon Support can provide a same day response time to minimize down time. Telephone assistance - Our help desk can provide you and your staff with support on many issues they may encounter during the working day. A quick phone call can sometimes prevent an office hours of down time.
Preventative Maintenance - Preventative maintenance's primary purpose is to minimise system outages and if systems do fail, the impact will be controlled and less damaging. During this process, problems are identified and remedied immediately.
Ad-hoc service - To guarantee a quick response we would normally recommend that your computers are covered by a support agreement. However, if required urgently Icon Support is usually able to provide an engineer on-site on a next day basis to solve problems for non-contract customers. Our competitive rates provide a qualified engineer to your premises to solve problems on a fixed callout and hourly rate.

Deployments & Installations

The installation process adopted by Icon Support is a structured, systematic methodology that has evolved from our lessons learned in prior installations. Icon Support has provided acquisition, distribution, and installation of computer systems for many years. During this time we have developed the necessary communication, tracking, and monitoring systems to ensure that the installation process runs smoothly.
Icon Support’s computer installation process encompasses a number of steps designed to provide smooth and efficient installation. These activities include:
  • Transport of components to be installed from loading/staging area to installation area
  • Un-boxing of shipped components
  • Performance of the installation process in accordance with client approved procedural guidelines
  • Migration of user documents and personnel settings from the old hard drive
  • Installation of the new software image
  • Testing and certification of the new component(s)
  • Erasure of old hard drives
  • Boxing of the de-installed components
  • Movement of the de-installed components and all related components from the replaced workstations to an area designated by the local site contact
  • Removal of all packing boxes, materials, and debris from the installation site area to a designated location either on- or off-site
